Today we would like to talk about a sensitive topic in the crypto world: premium paid groups. These groups are active on various social platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and so on. They are usually run by people who have been active in the industry since the launch of bitcoin and who can often guess the market trend and the explosion of new tokens. However, these groups usually have monthly fees ranging from $10-100 to thousands of dollars per month. So, is it worth the expense of subscribing to these groups in order to make money in crypto? Absolutely NOT!
Why NOT subscribe to Paid Crypto Groups
1) 90% are made-up groups – Although there are several groups and programs run by experts, all the rest are created by scammers who copy the original groups and try to profit from the products of others. In these cases, the managers are scammers who are likely to lose you a lot of money, as they will use logos and names of reputable people but in the end promote paid shitcoins and not care about your losses. This doesn’t apply to everyone, but having checked many of them I can safely say that 90% of them fall into this category.
2) No one can guess 100% of the time – I often see groups advertising their product in an obscene way, saying that they can guess crypto signals 100% of the time. Think about it: if there was a way to guess 100% of the crypto (or any other market) trend, why would people keep working? Everyone would be subscribing to these groups and making safe money, day after day. To make money though, someone has to lose money, so how is it possible to guess 100% of the time? All it takes is a bit of logic in this case.
3) All information on premium groups can be found for free on the web– my favourite point. Nowadays Twitter, Reddit, Discord and Telegram are super valuable channels for the crypto industry as there is very good free information to be found. Simply follow the right channels and the clever influencers and you’ll always know the latest project or general crypto trend. Believe me, many premium groups are just cataloguing this data and reselling it to you, using sales techniques that have been well tested over the years. The web is a wonderful place and if you learn to use it well you can make some serious money!
4) Pump&Dumps only generate profits for those who organize them – Some premium groups specialize in the technique known as Pump&Dump. This is a strategy of buying a few illiquid tokens to make the price skyrocket. Usually, the administrators of these types of groups will buy the token beforehand, then launch the signal and have you buy the same token driving the price through the roof, and then the same administrators will quickly sell, making huge profits and leaving you with a very high carrying price compared to the actual price of the token. I have seen many Pump&Dump tokens go from $1 to $3-5 and then back to the same price. Those who bought at $3-5 suffered huge losses within seconds. These groups are ALL SCAMS. Not 99%, but 100% of them should be avoided!
